At Master Minds, therapy with children is conducted in a way that makes them feel comfortable and engaged. A range of toys, games, crafts and imaginative tasks are used to teach children therapeutic techniques and to ensure they engage with the therapy process. Parents & caregivers are encouraged to engage in the therapy process of their child and to help their child practice strategies in between sessions. Generally, the younger the child, the more therapeutically engaged the parent will need to be.
