Profile:
Leila is registered as a Clinical Psychologist & Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has worked across a range of government and private organisations over the past 15 years providing mental health support to clients from a range of ages and abilities. She has extensive experience assessing and supporting children, teens and adults living with a disability. She has also worked extensively with clients where cultural, linguistic or religious factors affect their ability to engage in therapy. She is primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has further training and experience in other therapeutic styles including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, & Play Therapy.
Leila has particular interest in working with clients who are new to therapy, working with complex client concerns, and conducting assessments (including ADHD, Autism and IQ assessments).
